Ingredients:
FOR THE CAKE :
3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ cup granulated sugar separated (1 1/4 for the cake, 1/4 cup for the meringue)
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
And so on.

Instructions:
  • First. TO MAKE THE CAKE BATTER
  • Step two, Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes.
  • Step 3, Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 or 9 inch cake pans.
